Hi there,

I have opened up my email account to find an email from MBNA stating that they need customer verification information.
the site is asking you for your credit card/bank information and for you PIN number....
I have called MBNA canada and they informed me that this is a FRAUD and that the police are looking into this matter...

No bank or financial institution will ever ask their customers by email to provide their personal information on a link contained on that email.

If you get such an email, it is for sure an attempt to steal your info and drain your account. If it is disguissed as coming from your bank, contact your bank and they will happily deal with it.
