Is it possible to check status online? They sent me a form with my servicing # but it wont let me track it online, it goes to the US site?

Anyone gone through this? Anyone know average repair time because I"m going away in about 5.5-6 weeks.

My Olympus got repaired in about 3-4 weeks including shipping time. Six weeks should be sufficient.

BE AWARE!!
I don't remember how long they took, or if I could check the status online...but a few years back I had to send my camera in for servicing and never got it back....I don't know if Nikon screwed up, or someone at Customs or wherever helped themselves to my camera....but it never made its way back to me. Nikon eventually replaced it, but not before I bought a new one.

Customs? Where did you send it? I sent mine to Mississauga. I've read afew things about Nikon loosing them. I hope this isn't the case. I'ts my only camera and we are going to Disney in a Sept. There is no way I'm leaving without a freaking camera, mine or one they will give me. I'll phone them next week to see whats going on. I just sent it in last week but still figure its better to stay on their ass. Like Mattamy :P

I have had camera's in at Nikon in Mississauga for repair, and tune ups and never had a problem. They were quick and had it back to me within 2 weeks normally.

Ok this gives me hope. I really wish it didn't need repair but I had no choice to send it in. I dont want to have any problems with my pictures from our trip. I hope it's back in time. I'll try calling them next week to see what they say.
