Meh, I don't think these scenes are that big of a deal. If it makes you uncomfortable then you can pick a different show. The toe thing is really weird and gross and totally something that would creep me out also...but as far as sex scenes in general, it's a natural thing!

I think a prude is someone who gets queasy at the sight of a nipple. All that excessive sex on TV shows becomes sort of distracting because people usually watch shows to get involved and care about the characters. But, if the purpose of watching a show is to satisfy a curiosity or get turned on, then it's not too much. You're just watching TV for different reasons than your wife.

Most of these shows are on HBO, or Showtime, known for racier fare. Plus, you have to subscribe to get those channels, so I would assume if a person is subscribing they're doing so because they want to watch those shows.

That being said, I love love love True Blood and Dexter. Bring on the sexy scenes.
