The two schemes bw the Bengals and Pats, are two totally different setups.... so much so that you cant hold chad to the fire because he hasnt got the pats lingo and schemes just yet.

He will get it... soon than later, I hope.... but he will get it.

Once the timing and chem bw Brady and Ocho are figured out, they will be a duo like Moss and Brady were. Then Wes will step up when the double is on Ocho... and we will be unstoppable!

i am envious of your passion- being a Bills fan all i get to look forward to is the hope we get Andrew Luck with next year's 1st overall pick...
that's why i need to get into some pools cuz i sure as hell won't have anything to cheer about this year...
season opens in 7 more sleeps!!!

last nights game was bit of a downer for me.... where was the damn defense?

I like close games... good strong defensive efforts... I fell asleep during the second quarter. I was pumped for the season to start too...

I liked how Rodgers mocked Brees and the Saints offense after the game too.... a bit dickish, but funny. It wasnt the offense though that sucked for either team... it was both defenses... but i digress.

Sorry Brian... there aint much to cheer for in Buffalo. But ya always have dem cheerleaders

Buffalo in KC, as the opener... not much to get pumped for... but its football, and thats all that matters!!!!

now although i love a good smash mouth game as well i thought last night's track meet was at least good theatre. strange thing is those were the 2 top ranked defenses in the nfc last year.
sigh... yes no joy in Mudville but we love the Jills!!! we had first row in the corner once a few years back and my buddy got about 5 of them to sign his jeans with a sharpie,lol... "yeah, just a little higher up in the leg please honey" was his usual request

are you kidding me.... 41 points?

hmmmmmm.... given the fact it was against KC, I wouldnt plan the parade just yet. BUT, the fact the Bills scored 41 points period, is impressive.

THis season might not be a total waste of time for you brian....

I suggest you have a discount day; the first day your shop is open after a bills win, you honor a discount based on the number of points the Bills score????

They already cut him.
That useless turd of a DB that got beat for the 99.5 yd TD to effectively seal the win, got cut after THAT play.

I am a dolphins fans (historically, at least. Marino, Clayton, the good ol days), and these days I'm more just a football fan.
It was fun watching the Dolphins grind out that opening drive touchdown, but then Brady marches down the field in 3 minutes and EASILY gets it right back. They stay in striking distance until this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEFk0Kf8 ... re=related

And NO running game.. Reggie Bush is NOT a starting RB.
Now they picked up Larry Johnson again? oh boy... I tend to have more fun rooting for the Bills to LOSE than hoping my dolphins win.

I will be thrilled with a 7-9 record this year. As long as they finish ahead of the Chief-killing Bills (???!?!?!!)

aw geez Fred- i was just beginning to like you... Bills are alot of people's pick to finish last in the conference, but they're still looking down at the dolphins(albeit only 1 week in) :D
AND we get the raiders at home this week, and they looked even worse than miami...

BUT, Silver & Black pulled out a week 1 victory  As did the Bills, but its the Bills...:? Freddy's fishies got squishied week 1.... and see's Houston week 2. Raiders v Bills should be the better game.

Pats get the Chargers week 2... the number 1 ranked defense in 2010. We will see if that 517 yard performance was for real... Im still predicting a win. GO PATS GO, but not a 500+ yard masterpiece.

SOrry boys... i go against both ya week 2... Even at home, I think the Raiders will beat up the Bills. And, Freddy buddy beers on me, no chance the fish can beat the texans.

week 2 should be a good one... get your popcorn ready.... 8)

fortunately for the raiders, the broncos were equally awful. i have no disillusions about my Bills- they can lose to anybody at any time. and beers are on me too, Fred, but not til after the season(or at least til were both eliminated from the playoffs).
full marks to Brady- he's a hall of famer- but he can retire anytime please... let someone else win the division for once!

could you imagine... simply being able to retire at 34? Damn... im in the wrong business... I would probably make more money being brady's bithc boy than I do now... lol. He has a few more years in him, and nearly all of'em include division titles. AND, at least one more ring 8)
