Yes, we wanted to keep it simple ... didn't want the tiles screaming for attention :-) I was a bit hesitant when I first bought the tiles, but I really like how it came out!

What do you mean already?? :)

.... the rest of the house is really bare right now, so no pictures there :-)

Backsplash and under cabinet lighting..already?!!! Didnt you just move in...I would still be unpacking boxes..let alone arranging, hiring, picking out tiles...and days later its in backsplash and lights... already???!!!
that is great..you are super organized..or I m just NOT...
where did you get your range hood from.. I was thinking of getting a very similar one online from Eurokitchens??

Its funny we picked so many of the features you guys did..by the way who was your design centre consultant?
ours was Agapi --cant say enough about her...love her...

well whenever you guys feel like sharing pictures of your lovely home..it will be welcomed..bare or not..it is such a nice home. thank you for sharing it with us...

We had Agapi too :) ... she was *suggesting* dark cabinets, but we wanted the white ones. So what's the stage of your home? Any pictures?

We have tons of unpacking to do too .. just spent the last few weeks in the kitchen :) ..

We got all our appliances from Goeman's, including the range hood.

I purchased all mine from Goeman's also...did you use their installation services or others?

No, I installed them myself .. actually they setup up the washer and dryer - I paid for them to install the pedestals; I think the washer and dryer hookup comes standard.

Great looking house ! I was wondering if the next time you have a chance to take photos you could snap some of the basement ceiling. I am curious how friendly the utilities are to finishing the basement. A lot of the time the ducts make a basement height totally useless for finishing.

I think wenge is a cartier colour -> our's was from Frendel, in espresso.
