Anyone who visits/views this website gets captured in an "IP Log" file that Apache (our webserver) makes every night. Occasionally I view the log file through a report analyzer to see a list of the host names for the IPs that are visiting.

Mostly it's routine stuff like lots of Rogers, Sympatico, a few AOL, Shaw cable and "cgocable", other misc host names that I have no idea what they mean. It doesn't show anything confidential, just IP & hostname.

So for example if you visit this website from home, and are a sympatico user for instance, in the log the ip gets captured with a sympatico type host name (using something called reverse dns).

Ok, the only minor interesting thing is 3 times over the past couple weeks someone's visited this website from IP 66.207.104.94 which in the log files is displayed with a host name of "mattamyhomes-v138.oakville-hydro.on.ca" and if you go to http://66.207.104.94/ it seems to be some kind of private internal Mattamy Website.

So based on the logs, someone from a Mattamy office computer has viewed this website on 3 seperate occasions this month. Of course it could be anyone, receptionist browsing the web, etc... But I thought that was still minorly interesting to mention.

A couple hours after I posted that message the website at http://66.207.104.94/index.php seemed to have been changed, now it just gives...

403 Forbidden - The server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator

...if you try to go to it.

It was some kind of "Mattamy Homes Trade Partner Website"..it had a private login/password with additional text saying..

"Please be advised that sketches are now available on the following reports:
(1) Options + Extra's Summary (2) Color Chart (3) Color Chart Planning
Just click on the sketches list provided on each report."

with mattamy logos and other stuff.

I guess after posting that message they made it private with 403 Forbidden error message.

I'll vouch for you Rick, I saw the same thing after I clicked on the link!

Maybe they will get some insite from us and give us some freebees for helping them out

It's neither good news or bad news. It's just minor news that I thought may or may not be interesting to some people Does it affect anyone? no not really.

Not at all Rick, I got the same forbidden message like you. A couple days later I tried it and it worked...just like today. Go figure.

I still think it will help Mattamy out more than us to visit the forum and see what people are thinking.
