Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has bought a Spirit 30 foot lot, Plan 6, in Milton. I have and I just wanted to see any pics of a completed home. Also, I am having a difficult time deciding what colour cabinets to get. The colour included that I like is kind of an off white colour, but Im worried that it gets dirty once you start using the kitchen. Can anyone let me know if this is true? Also anyone have a rough idea on how it will cost for the kitchen packages, I dont have my design guide as of yet???? Thanks

Jess:)

Hi Jess,

We've got one in HVOP Phase 1, and love it. We went with the darker kitchen cabinets, and lighter counter tops (see below) so I can't comment as to how an off-white kitchen shows the dirt. The dark brown does hide quite a lot, as does the counter top we chose.
As far as prices go, they depend on if you chose included cabinetry or upgrade, and if you used the included layout or upgraded to the Chef's kitchen (as we did- see below). It also depends on how fancy you're looking to get with the layout packages. We went with executive.

For the included kitchen and included cabinets, the prices range from $520-$2200, and for the chef's kitchen it ranges from $613-2600.

Let me know specifics as to what you're looking for in a kitchen and I can provide further help if you need!

You could probably put one there, but we didn't have one, and do all of our eating in the kitchen anyways, so prefer to leave the space open for now. I did put a number of tables lengthwise through the living/dining room when I hosted thanksgiving for 13 people, so it's doable. For every day, you'd have to play around with layouts I think.

I highly recommend the executive package - if nothing for the pots and pans drawers! They're very convenient!

They are on the island, and you get one shallow one I use for knives, measuring cups, and all the random kitchen utensils like spatulas. Then there are two large ones.

I'm pretty sure it was called "Venezia?" and in wenge colour. They were an included option so no extra cost.

Yes- but depends on the size or your interest in covering up an electrical outlet. We have ~ 2.5 feet from the edge of the cabinets to the electrical. Alternatively, there's lots of space from the other side of the outlet to the wall with the patio door.
