An elementary school teacher in Milton has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a teenager.
The accused is a 36-year-old teacher at Hawthorne Village Public School in Milton, and police say he is also active in child and youth groups in the area.
It’s alleged he exposed himself to a 15-year-old boy “for a sexual purpose.”
Halton District School Board spokesperson Jeff Blackwell said the accused had been assigned to work from home by the board on Feb. 24 and has not been in the classroom since.
Scott Dempster[/size] turned himself into Oakville police on Wednesday and was charged with committing an indecent act and mischief.
Det. Sgt. Alison Freeman said Dempster has been released from police custody
