So exciting Sri!!

Lots of activity like usual on the street. We have all our light fixtures, kitchen and hardwood in, starting to come together!! 2 1/2 weeks til PDI!!

Also I posted this already in the General forum, however thought I'd let the street know. I found out from Bell yesterday that they offer Fibe on our street! I've never been with Bell, but we're going to move over, their programming can't be worse than Cogeco. There's also some great promo rates with the Mattamy/Bell relationship.

Thanks for the heads up :)

Be careful with Bell though - their pricing may be good but the after-sales experience is quite... lacking =/

Holy cow these guys are fast! Most of the houses on the street are in a near-complete state, and ours is starting to take shape too!

:) Good to hear. We went by today and found that our house was half-bricked already!

Thanks HJR, very useful, good luck with the move! I'm curious to see how difficult it is to get a moving truck onto and off of our street on moving day with all that construction! I'm hoping Mattamy is good about keeping the street fairly clear on the days they know houses are closing. I'm sure it will be a challenge none-the-less!

Pray for good weather! Imagine cleaning up after tracking in all that mud into your house!

We have drywall! Wow, everything is going so quickly!

The rest of the street is coming along nicely, even the breaker houses are taking shape!

The street looks amazing! The fire break homes are even being framed now!! Very exciting.

PDI Complete, any issues we saw, they resolved on the spot (ie a few vents covered by drywall/carpet). A bunch of exterior items they added to the list for completion once the areas a little more settled.

One more week and we're on the street, hope those of you that are in already are enjoying your new places!

We're in and loving it! Sidewalks in, driveway paved and slowly but surely getting unpacked. I second you tyrone64, it was so busy today while they were paving I ended up parking on Dice Way. Now that we're paved I'm looking forward to parking in the driveway or garage.

We ended up with a few surprises from Mattamy on move day after being told we were their 10 000th Milton family, biggest one being an AC upgrade for free; feeling pretty lucky! (and I thought we were already lucky enough to move into this beautiful neighborhood).

For home and auto insurance we went thought Smart Coverage http://www.smartcoverage.ca/ Had all the right coverage for a great price (were initially referred to them through GM).

There must be a lot of people closing in the next few weeks by the way, a lot of homes look close to completion.
