Hi

I've been following this site for a little while. It seems that many of you are married (either with no kids or kids). No offense, but is anyone single?! :-)

Come on, there must be some other single people out there who have chosen to make Hawthorne Village their new home!

J.

I was wondering the same thing as most owners appeared to be couples. Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm single and moved here in Dec.

We are newlyweds, as we just got married in September. No kids as of yet, but we plan on starting a family after we move in.

However, we're the first of our friends to do get married, and most of them are still single.

I'm 24, and my husband is 29.

Take care,

Laurie

We are getting married a month before we move in!

I am 28 and she is 28 turning 29. We have some single girlfriends, and some single guy friends.

No kids yet either, but planning for kids in about 5 yrs.

Too expensive for kids right now! LOL

Gregory L,

We hear you, we are both 32
with 3 kids (not more for us).
Hopefully, there are lots of kids around us for their sake!
Otherwise, we'll come and visit you!

Not likely md2000. I have quite a few friends in the area who have lived in Hawthorne for almost 2 years now. It seems to be filled with single male cops? interesting to say the least. We keep hearing that Hawthorne is filled with either cops or teachers.
The single girls on here should like that! I I know Chris's friends (all the single guys) can't wait for us to move in and meet the girls in the croftside over from us hehe Laura watch out!
I am loving the age group (no offense to anyone older) however it is pretty great to move into a community that is around 25 etc. Same points in life, same stories etc. It sheds some light on the growth that will happen in the neighborhood. Its enlightening. Of course the bbq/patio parties should be nice too! And with Gregs brood, they will be old enough to babysit by the time the other crowd starts having kids! Great cycle!

That's what we said at the last pub night!
Give my oldest daughter 5 years, time for all of you
"younger hawthorne villagers" :D :D
to have you first and second kids!

She'll be ready to go and be babysitter "extraordinaire"

Ken and I will be single until October 15th. Then we'll be married.

We don't have any kids, dogs or other dependants.

Just found this topic.....glad to hear there are more singles out there....I thought I was going to be moving in to a neighbourhood with all married people.

Lots of cops in the neighbourhood.....woo hoo....they can keep this young lady safe....LOL! :D :D :D

I almost got a house from a Peel region Constable in the area, but settled on a different one!

So there ARE non-married, single people around here! I'm still adjusting to how quiet the area is (a good thing) compared to where I moved from. Very family-friendly here, so there won't be noisy parties (except for Winter Crescent :)).
