Hi 2nd line
Yes, two numbered corporations have bought 7 houses along this section of Ontario St. S. over the last six months and there has been no applications submitted to the Town planning department to my knowledge and no water allocation for any redevelopment in this area at present.
I have requested staff to enforce the property standards by-law on these vacant properties before they get any worse and town staff have to go in to the required work and bill it back to the owners through their taxes which the Town has done on other vacant properties if the owners are unwilling or unable to do the work.
http://www.milton.ca/MeetingDocuments/C ... 1-2001.pdfAny development on these properties would require an official plan amendment, zoning by-law amendment, site plan approval, water and waste water allocation and building permits all of which are required to be approved by both the Town and Region through a public process with notifications to the neighours within 120 metres and signs on the affected properties.
