So i was at Milton Mall today, (I was really bored and had nothing better to do), While i was there i noticed large grey garbage pails placed throughout the mall to catch the water dripping from the ceiling during our storms today.

As i was passing through the food court i couldnt help but notice a group of people stop and point to the roof where the restraunts are and chat with the janitor about the large holes in the ceiling and the clear unkeep of the mall.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this, Or is at all concerned since the colapse of the mall in elliot lake killing two people, Taking into consideration that we are soon getting a big box store im a little concerned at the poor upkeep at this locaion.

It would have been really nice if you would have taken a moment and try to inquire about the admin office in the mall and reported your concern to them. This would Probably given you more satisfaction that you lodge a complain to the right authority and secondly would have felt proud of being a proactive Milton resident.

Have you ever been to the Elliot Lake Mall? There is a HUGE difference in looks and upkeep between these 2 malls.
Did you not see the huge down pour we had today? I am sure the mall generally does not leak this bad in a regular down pour. I am sure this rain storm found a few new holes, in the ceiling. btw, Just cause a mall has a leak does not mean it's going to cave in. Last year I was shopping at square one and their ceiling was leaking in a few spots, with your assumptions I guess Square ones going to cave too

Hey didn't mean to piss in everyone's corn flakes this morning....I was only seeing who else was noticing an issue such as this.

I did stop by the office in the mall and nobody was there so I came home and emailed the correct dept to bring this to attention.

All I was trying to do was bring it to other peoples attention and see what others opinions were on it.

Hey martin,

AMAZING.....I can't believe it didn't burn, I'm cutting it twice a week now, it's growing like a bad weed.

That mall is as sad as a million Sarah McLachlan animal rescue videos with her song "Angel" playing. (stole this one from I think Prickly Pete)

Guess someone building town hall didn't have it inspected properly.
It's amazing how millions of dollars are spent and something so new has leaks already :/
Must've had the roof worked only on a Monday.. Yay for hangovers!

You should see the sports center when it rains!
