I do have sleep apnea and it is not currently an issue and I have already eliminated blue light from my bedroom and surrounding areas. My alarm clock light gets shut off as well. I drone on to my son about how he can't sleep at because his brain is too active from playing xbox so late, so I don't stay up with the computer or tv either. I actually don't really watch tv often. Caffeine is a morning only addiction for me and I drink drink pop so I don't get it that way either. I don't take meds for sleeping or really any kind of meds before bedtime because they usually have a paradoxical affect on me

I am sure it is more of a mind of matter thingy for me, but I wish my mind would get over it...lol
I hear you. I too had some mild sleep apnoea, but I cannot get used to the CPAP, so I don't use it.
On nights where I do sleep okay medicine-free, I usually wait until I'm super-tired regardless of time, and then I just get in a comfortable foetal position and think happy thoughts, i.e. I like cars, so I'll think of cars I want to own someday, or positive people I know, and many a times, it helps me retire.
