We go here every year. It runs from July 24th to about the end of August I think.

If you haven't ever been there, I'd greatly advise going! It's quite a treat. It's on every weekend. It's $12 per person, or $4 for kids.

It's located in Milton, check the website for directions.

We just went yesterday. It's quite neat. I didn't know they had a whole village all set up!

It was $12 each for the day, and there are several live theatres and jousting all included in the price.

Well worth it.

It really is true!

Dave and I have been going every year for the past few years - before we even thought about moving to Milton!! We discovered it by accident really and it was really great - live entertainment, great food and great people!

And, lucky for all of us, they lowered the prices this year, so as they said it's only $12 this year (last year it was $18 - but still well worth it!).

We haven't been yet this year but are planning to go the weekend after next!!

Maybe we'll see some of you there!

Laurie & Dave

Dave and I went to the festival today (Sat. Aug. 21st) and it was great!

Hope that all of you have a chance to spend a day out there!

Hey Tim - where you guys there today with your kids by any chance?

I swear I saw you leaving about 6:45pm - 7:00pm today, outside the gates with your little girl (did she have a purple rose?)??

If it wasn't you, well you may very well have a twin out there! LOL

We didn't have a chance to run over and say "Hi" cause it was just a quick glance from a distance, but I just thought I'd ask cause I thought it was you.

Anyways, take care everyone!

Laurie

Ha ha, thats funny. It was us!

I didn't want to go today, but Sandra said it would be ok with 3 hrs to check things out.

We did check out the Mattamy sales center again and found out we made more money and we now have a neighbour on both sides of our house finally.

We checked out our lot again and the houses behind our have their foundations poured.

Anyway, the festival was ok if you have money to spend. At least parking is free.

I agree....it is a fantastic time - certainly not "just ok"

And, if you spend the day, there are TONS of FREE things that don't cost a thing!

It opens at 10:30am, and if you go about 10:15am, they start a skit and blast a cannon and everything!

And, you'll get a program at the door with a list of everything that is going on that day - and there are at least 10 different acts that are all FREE!! There are even lots of things that go on at the children's theatre!!

Its definetly better than ok - you just have to go there and look in the program for what you want to see!

P.S. Don't forget to go early to see the "opening"!
