See if you can Badger on price if you are seriously thinking of getting one. You seem on the fence despite the majority of us advising against buying a rental.

One thing to consider also is that even if you do have a warranty, it'll still an inconvenience and a drain on time and patience if the car has issues over time or you get stranded, and you have to leave it at the shop to get diagnosed and repaired. My biggest fear with rentals (because I experienced it) are problems once it gets older, like engine oil burning due to wear (excessive oil burning also shortens lives of catalytic converters and triggers check engine lights with a code called P0420), transmission slippage due to hard driving, and the thought of all the asses (noun and adjective :)) that have been in the driver seat.

Our previous Nissan Murano was a low KM rental - had it for 3 years, no issues or problems at all...
