If you need useful advice, a real doctor. Bonus: They are covered by medicare.

If you are looking to spend money, I'm available. I can give common sense advice or I can make up stuff, whatever makes you happier. I'll probably tell you that you have a gluten allergy. Anybody believes that one. I'll throw in a weird one too to look more authentic. Don't worry though, I'll go through your eating habits and pick something that you only eat once every 3 months or so to avoid too much inconvenience. I'm thinking you're probably allergic to... purple cabbage. Because of the chemicals, because purple interacts with antioxidants to make acids that give you cancer.

Knave, ND.

(not doctor)

Knave, lately I've found my morning stool has become 'looser'. It's not a total mess, but it is different. I noticed this started right around the time when egg nog appeared in my fridge. Do you think it's something with my diet, holiday stress, or something strange like the ghosts of Christmases past?

Please help me. If this progresses to later in the day when a shower doesn't follow immediately, I may get that "not so fresh" feeling.

Well, there is an obvious 5 step approach to dealing with your problem:

1) You need to sign up for regular appointments to see me.
2) You need to bring in some void cheques, preferably from different accounts.
3) You need to increase your raw thistle intake
4) Avoid any food that is red, since it is known to loosen stools
5) Don't shower for more than 4 minutes 55 seconds, since the natural moisture barrier of the skin gets weakened in the winter.
