Wonder if it will work with my Start.ca internet, would you be interested in bringing it over and testing it out? If it works i'll buy it from you, cash.

I have the same model, renting from Start.ca

Can't just connect it to see if it works. You have to call and they need to activat the mac address on your account.
Just call and ask them, i'm sure no problem.

Yes, as long as it's a docsis 3, which the Thompson (Technicolour) DCM476 is, then it will work with Start.

Hey Adam,

I've sent you a PM with details. Please let me know if you're interested as there are a few other people waiting in line after you.

Richard: I know for the regular guy I don't believe there will be an issue (ie. surfing the internet), but as an avid online gamer, I noticed quite a bit of inconsistency with regards to speed (LAG was killing me . . literally !). I've never used Cable before until the switch to Teksavvy, but in the 3 months I was with them, I would never switch back especially in Milton with Cogeco. Also all the issues around Christmas time as other Cogeco customers have mentioned on this board (Constant resetting of modem required everyday). It's annoying when ur paying for up to 20 MB download speeds but sometimes u get that, other times ur getting 10 MB, 5 MB, the other day I did 5 speedtests and received: .16, .01, .18, .06 & .14 Mbps as download speeds. I won't say there haven't been any issues on DSL (I was with Bell previously), but nothing like what I've seen in 3 months from Cable.
