Was confronted by one crossing Clark @ 4th Line, very early this morning, using the walking paths. When he spotted me, he turned and came straight at me. Using the "make bigger", "walk backwards" and "make noise" routine, he stopped in his tracks about 50 ft. away. Turned around and was joined by a mate. Both then casually trotted down the walking path and disappeared. This path is used by kids and adults alike. This spotting/confrontation was my third at the same spot in the last 6 months. Always around 5 or 6 am.
Beautiful animals, but please stay away from me.
This incident should be reported to the MNR, because the coyote showed signs of aggression by walking towards you. Had you not known what to do or if you were a child things could have drastically change.
