TD Canada Trust has dropped the 5 year rate again!!

Builder Capped Rate is now 5.48% :D

I don't know how to respond to this without sounding snarky, as that is NOT my intention....but we didn't lower our rates a second time, and our builder capped rate is still 5.25% for 5 years. That is for 18months with an automatic floatdown should the rates ever decrease further during the building period.

I agree as well. It is always nice to have options.

As for options...TD Canada Trust is also offering a cashback incentive as well as discounted rates. Feel free to call for details.

Talked to a mortgage broker the other day and he told me he could be me 5% right now....it's still a little early to get serious with a broker but I'm liking the sound of that and the possibility of rates going down. I'm at 4.65% on my current mortgage and am hoping to get there with my next. Keeping the fingers crossed!
