Hey everyone. I just want to send a message out there for all the furbaby owners.. If you love your animals as much as I do mine, please listen to this! I had to stop by the Canadian Tire in Milton to quickly grab some dog food for my pup as I had been away. I purchased a bag of Pedigree dog food for adults. After Lily (my pup) ate, she was puking and had the runs all evening.. This morning I checked the bag again only to see it was INFESTED WITH WORMS!!! Pebbles that were full of eggs and sacks of the larvae! Not to mention dead moths everywhere. The photos are gross but have to be shared. Please watch what is going in your puppy's belly! This needs to be shared to everyone! I have tried to cnotact Pedigree on several occasions and all they are offering to give me is $10 towards another bag of their food. WHY WOULD I WANT THAT! I also contacted Canadian Tire to request removal of their infested dog food bags, as there were moths flying all over the isle. But they have yet to complete this request.. Help me out people! :(

Did you check the expiry date on the bag? Also that food isn't the best for dogs. Those pics are pretty disgusting.

Contact the local paper and let them know of the reluctance for the companies to respond, and that you have pictures.

Well if you would read what I said, I needed to grab something quickly and I was in the store anyway. I'm sharing what I found with the food seeing as many people feed their animals this. Thanks for your input! "Nuff said"

Get that bag out of your house! Sit it somewhere in your back yard if your looking to return it. Those moths will cause you months of trouble if they get into your house. They will lay eggs on every dry food you have. Those worms will be found in your cereal box, pasta boxes, KD... I would not by anymore food goods from CT cause that entire store is most likely infested now.

I got those little moths from Bird food, I had stored in my pantry, they are so hard to get ride of I had to call PCO they came set a little trap for the moths. I then was instructed to check all my cereal boxes, pasta, cookies, flour... Everything had to be placed in an air tight plastic containers. It took me 3 months to get ride if these things.

Check your cereal boxes if you have had that bag of food in your house for a few weeks.

I no longer will keep bird food in my house. I keep it outside in one of those Halton green bins in the shed.

For more information on these moth google meal moth or kitchen moth
