They don't have tanning at LA despite the gym chain's name?

The other sh!thole GoodLife that's worse than ours by far is the Oakville one on Dorval, in a basement. I'm surprised that for a rich town like that, they still get members who tolerate the cramped quarters, but they do. The best GoodLife location I've ever been to is the Burlington one in that mall....two of everything, and lots of sophisticated members.

They have a GL at Pearson airport inside Terminal 1. Saw it yesterday. Beautiful layout, but what a strange location.

HA I go to that location all the time because it's close to my work. You would think that a gym in the basement would at least keep cooler in the Summer, but nope. Oh, and no cell phone reception. Fun.

it also accentuates the rolls :( tried the free 1 week trial at LA and it was dark enough that i had to look close to read the numbers on the weights.

Lol at the lighting. When that location was a Premier and I was a member there for a year, they'd always leave lights burnt out for long periods. Do they still only have 1 water fountain for the entire upstairs?

As ghetto as Goodlife is, I still like the coziness and familiarity there. On weekends, I go between 1-3pm and it's always less busy in that window, with the same usual faces.

you know what, i think it was still premier when i went. i remember the water fountain thing as well and it could explain the lighting as well. the pool was not open then either. premier was pretty terrible.

glad to hear LA fixed the lights at least.

Maybe GoodLife reads this board, because they are in the process of putting in new rubber floors and getting rid of the old carpet, lol. They are starting at the stretching station next to the spinning room.
