The lookout was a nice option that we almost went for ourselves but couldn't justify the lot premium (didn't feel like bending over, know what I mean?). We decided to spend that money on upgrades instead. To each their own of course.

My dad was 27 in line, some of you probably bumped into him. I think he was wearing a God Awefull Touque my grandma knits out of spare wool.

He bought the Abbotson or something (the bungalow) since they are nearing retirement and do not want a lot of stairs.

He was very surprised of the April 2008 closing, he was expecting early 2009.

Matt

My dad likes to stand out, it was either that or a cowboy hat!

I believe the 'future development' is Phase III of the escarpment phase. The map is a little misleading, as other areas not yet released were classified as 'future residential', which caused me concern at first. However, I questioned several people from Mattamy head office, and they assured me it was future residential (and it makes sense as there is not enough room for any sort of commercial development).

Hi Hunter
You can see more details of the Phase 3 plan of 351 homes under Item #2 of the Items for Consideration staff report that was approved at last nights (April 16th) Administration & Planning committee of Milton Council. The plan is similar to the phase 2 area with a mix of detached, semi-detached and freehold townhouses. The plan still requires water and sewer allocation from the Region which should come sometime later this year or 2008.

This is great news. We were afraid that a commercial site like the one at Holly and Derry (?) would block our view of the escarpment. :)
