Also offering a good deal on front door tinting if, like us, you ended up with a clear glass insert in your front door and wanted to have full privacy. You see out, nobody sees in!

Yes. The best solution here, is to use mirrored privacy film. You would be able to see out but visibility from the exterior, would be eliminated with a mirror finish. I have a roll of this, which is 3' (36") wide, so in order to apply to your size of window, it would require a horizontal hairline join (barely visible) Alternatively, a 4' (48") wide roll can be sourced but these are much more expensive. You'd be looking at $150 installed, with a hairline join. I would have to speak to my supplier, to check on pricing for the 48" roll, so please advise on your preference. Thank you for the enquiry.

Dan is really awesome and stands by his work, he did an install for me and it looks amazing. He wall mounted some speakers for me and I couldn't get them to work so he offered to come back and help me fix them free of charge. I honestly recommend this guy if you need anything done, we are going to get him to do over the cabinet lighting, under the cabinet lighting and our backsplash. There is not much he cannot do and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I wanted to recommend Dan as a great contractor. I had some door framing and finishing work done by Dan and the result was excellent, better than the builders work and it satisfied the permit requirements.
Dan was very professional, honest and reasonable.

I had some work done in my home by a shady contractor named Akram who did a crap job that did not meet the permit requirements and he never came back to finish the job. Dan was able to fix the mess by re-doing much of the work and did an excellent job.

I would highly recommend Dan and plan on using his services in the near future again.

Dan is the man, highly recommended.

1. Great communication, responded quickly to inquiries, very professional and very polite.
2. Quote for work was reasonable.
3. He actually turned up on time - yes, some contractors on this site actually do not show up.
4. He installed about 30 sqft of kitchen backsplash and it looks amazing. Very attentive to detail and I felt like he took a personal interest in getting the job done right.
5. He cleaned up after his work was complete.
6. Will definitely use his services again.

Ash

Finished that basement and concerned about your sump pump failing next spring? Be prepared and install a secondary battery back up pump. If your primary fails or in the event of a power outage, the back up will engage and sound an alarm, to let you know! PM me for enquiries...

I would highly recommend Dan. We had him do some framing in our laundry room, repair a door that was not closing due to the house settling, replace the exhaust vent from the kitchen to the outside. He does high quality work, takes pride in what he does and pays attention to detail!

We will definitely will have him back for other projects in the near future!

Dan recently completed two bathroom reno's in our old home. Both were 'gut jobs' which required complete demo, and complete rebuild. Needless to say, we have no experience with sort of thing, and we are 'design-challenged' so this whole venture was a bit daunting for us.

Dan was absolutely terrific! He was patient with us as we asked many, many questions along the way. He took the time to have 'mid-week chin wags' with us, to update us on the status, details, timing and costs of everything happening. Dan provided interim cost estimate updates when we decided to make small changes. Dan flagged items of concern for us, qualifying it in a way that we understood - major issue vs minor issue, etc.

He was always clean. I think he vacuumed everyday before he left! He ensured the rest of our house was clean and usable at the end of each day.

Dan's quote was reasonable and reflected actual costs - he did not 'low ball' on certain fixtures to achieve a lower overall quote like some other quotes we got (which would have thrown us 'inexperienced people' off). The end cost of our project was on target with what we agreed to - to the penny! He stands by his quotes, and if something comes up outside of his scope, he advises and gives you a cost update (if necessary) right away.

Dan is talented and has wonderful workmanship. He did everything including demo, drywall / taping, shower installation (measuring, waterproofing, tiling, glass installation, fixture installation, new trim, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc). If we had questions or concerns, he paid attention and responded / remedied where necessary.

Dan showed up everyday, spent all day working, etc. The projects stayed on budget too (except for the more expensive fixtures we decided to choose!).

We would highly recommend Dan Jones (Charla Contracting) for any job! (in fact, we are already thinking of new jobs we will have for him in the future). He has talent, ability, he is personable, patient, responsible and reliable.

Many thanks Dan! We love our bathrooms!
Five stars for Charla!!

I just wanted to leave some positive feedback for Dan. We found him on the villager and he ended up doing a bunch of jobs for us. We initially called him regarding a leak in the basement from a pipe

connected to a washroom. Dan fixed the pipe easily in one visit and charged us a very fair price. We then asked him to install some laminate flooring in our family room and again he was very

professional and easy to work with. We were very happy with him and his work so we asked him to give us a quote on finishing our walkout basement. Dan gave us a great design and he worked with

our budget. He gave us a reasonable, honest quote and did not low ball items to try to get our business. Dan is very honest and hardworking. He came and worked everyday and was very considerate

when working. Kept everything clean and tried to accommodate noise levels since we had a newborn daughter around. Cannot say anything negative about Dan or his work. GREAT contact to have!

Would definitely call him again for any future projects =)

Dan is very personable. We had invited Dan to give us some recommendations on a few jobs required around the house. He is very honest, and unlike many other contractors who take on jobs for the sake of making money, Dan talks himself out of certain jobs by suggesting do-it-yourself techniques to save money. Another aspect of Dan which is commendable is that he does not do everything himself. He has a team of specialized sub-contractors who concentrate on certain areas, and instead of him dealing with the sub-contractor, he will let you deal with them. He stands behind the quality of the work by the specialists he recommends.

We hired him to fix a small fence on the side of the house. He came on time and finished it on the day he had scheduled us for. He only charged us for the actual hours it took him to gather materials, fix the fence and dispose of the materials, and not for the entire day.
We are very pleased with his work, and would hire him again as well as recommend him.
