NOOOOO......I was hoping everything would be on schedule after seeing the delays in previous phases...I guess they just haven't leared :evil: :cry: :evil: :cry: I can't wait for our first house as it is....now there's a chance for (a) delay(s)!

Ahh We went from September 5th to November 21st.

We were looking forward to our first home.. Hopefully this will be the only delay.....

This is crazy.

How can the self proclaimed 'best builder' not have their permits in order!

This pisses me off beyond belief. Forget boycotting oil companies, lets storm the mattamy office with pitchforks :twisted: (i'm kidding, of course). How many phases in a row has this happened?

Colin, is there any reason that you know of? (Permits or such?)

Sounds like they do have them in order, that is why there is a delay. They did not move ahead without them.....

They did that to us and said it was permits too, and they said it was the town that took longer to get them the permits sounds like bull to me.

We were Sep 21 2006 then got pushed to Oct 10th, so not that bad.

folks, its not the permits....cmon....the prefab plant is know where near completion, and they just keep selling those homes, never mind the delays in brick selection put over for the selling of more homes and putting our interests , in the toilet.....

BY THE WAY, those lots have been ready for ground breaking for the last 3 months.....so Mattamy, cut the crap....

I Emailed Kelly Spencer today and asked if the early delays meant that everyone in the phase was going to be bumped. I dont see how it wont affect everyone but of course I got the standard non-commital response which I somewhat expected. What kelly said was that right now there is nothing that she has been given to indicate that our home will be delayed in its closing which is scheduled for Dec 20th 2007, However, Mattamy cannot guarantee that homes will close on time in every instance due to weather, trades, blah blah blah.....Then I got a bit of a ramble about the Tarion warranty specifics on notices and their timing which I didnt ask for which made me some what suspicious that a notice will be forth coming. Hopefully they prove me wrong, but as it stands right now I entirely expect to be held up for some period of time.
