Or official grow up to serve legal sales which are coming. I'd rather see local medical cannabis made products at local pharmacy then just some international corporation pain killers. I wouldn't mind plant tour either...

You're late to the game my friend. [awesome list of companies] are all major producers of cannabis in Canada RIGHT NOW and are going to be the big suppliers on Weed Day 2018. These are companies who are stockpiling plant matter and producing oils, and are pouring all their money in to expansion - some globally.

If you're not already buying in to the green rush, there's still time. You can also roll with other conglomerates like [major player] if you like, and of course there's the heavy-on-Miracle-Gro marijuana ETF [look it up] if you're interested.

This literally happens only once. Gotta get in on the action, so we can all get the hell out of Milton!

They can go too. But at least I don't have to smell them.

You know, there is a large (very large) market for edibles, oils, and pills. All smell-free!! We won't even get in to the scary discrete world of vaporizers.

If you'd have bought in to those stocks I described above yesterday, you'd be up 1.17% today. Still not too late to get in though!!

Aaaannnnd, entire portfolio is up 4.19% today, bringing the total return to 18.26% since late June. And we're just getting started!!

Still time to get in on this - sky's the limit my friends.

Sounds like the new real estate! I'm sure nothing could go wrong with layer upon layer of government entanglement in all of this, right? What timing -- we're saved!

How is this even remotely close to being the "new real estate?" Yes, they are very risky at the moment with still much market uncertainty but again this isn't my life savings, just extra "fun" money. Ontario government's plans actually help out these companies - no "craft" small-time growers, the Liberal's plans cater to the massive licensed producers that I mentioned above.

Best part is, once the US legalizes, the head start these companies have over any producers in that country is insurmountable. Unless they ban Canadian weed, the Canadian producers are pretty much set up to be huge global players. And banning Canadian cannabis is extremely unlikely, as catering to the public's demand is essential in cutting out the black market.

Again this sort of thing NEVER happens. It's definitely worth a look. We're seeing the introduction of a recreational drug in to the public market. We already know people LOVE their substances, and people will pay a lot of money for them. If only a handful of companies are able to satisfy this need, it makes sense to buy in to them. To me, at least. I'll update you on Friday so we can really let the FOMO kick in...

Hmm, you'd better not invest in anything, ever then. Except index funds, I guess. I do love me some boring old index funds.

Casinos don't do anything for me either. All the bells and flashing lights, cheap food and decolletage just make me suspicious, and I remember more than just the payouts. Sounds like you've really tapped into a secret here though, wow how did you even hear about this?

A casino is established to make money and separate it from you with the promise of a chance at riches using games that are rigged against you. The only thing they have in common with investing is money.

Buddies and I have been talking about investing in weed stocks for years. Recently I re-did my tfsa and rrsp accounts to be less fee-heavy, and in doing so I realized how easy it is for the average schmuck to buy stocks. So, then came some research, made a list of what I consider to be the best companies for various reasons, dropped some money in an account and split it all up evenly.

It's only a modest amount, but following this stuff is a LOT more fun if you've got some skin in the game.

Portfolio is now up 21% as of right now. Been a crazy last 2 weeks.

Smart move Hordor, doing the same myself. Last couple of weeks has been a fun ride. I'm currently only exposed with Canopy, as they have the largest production footprint nationwide, and have the branding agreement with Snoop (lol). Considering diversifying with a touch of Aurora too.
