I hear about this park all the time but have never had the chance to head out there.
Can someone share with me what types of things there are there to do in the summer months??
Is there swimming etc.
Does it cost anything to get in or is more of a public park?
We're looking for a good place to throw a Family Reunion BBQ this summer, where we won't have to pay to get in...or only pay a small ind. fee or group fee.

Thanks!

it really is nice.. there is a brand new play structure thats great for little kids too. the best part is Bronte Creek, though. it's great for wading and catching crayfish, etc. my boys LOVE it there.

normally there is no fee to go, but if you reserve a picinic area for a family BBQ, i think there is a fee (see link below). you can always take a chance that the picinic tables will be available, but on the weekend it gets very busy.

hope this helps!
