I just noticed my basement leaks. It has 3 different spots and the water starts puddling on the floor. Eventhough not much but I just wonder if this still cover by mattamy. My house is 3 yrs old. Other thing I was consider is put concrete sealant. Any idea what should I do first? Call Mattamy or Terayon?
And if I have to buy sealant what kind (brand) should I buy . thanks

Foundation warranty is 2 years.

But type something up and send it to BOTH Tarion and your builders service department and see what happens.

Also check to make sure your sump pump is functional.

Water penetration through basement walls is 2 years.

Major cracks and structural fault is 7 years.

It certainly cannot hurt to ask, otherwise the answer is always no.

Mattamy says is not cover under warranty as well as tarion. So i guess i have to fix it myself. I have to buy concrete injection material or something. Any recommendation?

Do you actually see a crack where water is coming through? Or is it just kind of appearing?

Did you check your sump pump to make sure it was functional?

Is there a downspout in that area outside the house? Is it plugged? Broken? Disconnected?

I'mn currently working on patching a part of my 50 year old basement. I have water that appears on the floor, but I cannot see any cracks and the wall is dry. I'm using a Portland cement mixture that's apparently designed for this purpose. When it's dry I'm going to water down the side of the house with the garden hose for a while and see if anymore water comes in.
