HI,

We got all of a day and a half notice between the call and the time for the framewalk. They are on a very tight schedule and say they cannot accomodate specific appointments.

We are still closing July 25/2007 for now

And we did get the alternate kitchen layout even though it take up room in the kitchen that you could use for a table. We plan to build our basement so we are not concerned about the space.

Did you go with the alt. kitchen?

Peter.

Anyone else on Johnson Heights going to a Mattamy University tonight? (Tues June 12th). We have ours tonight, but our Emery townhouse (or it's our parents townhouse actually) doesn't close until October 2007. So I'm guessing most other Johnson Heighter's that have earlier closing dates than us may have already gone to Mattamy U's earlier in the year?

Wedding and honeymoon were fantastic. Couldn't have been better.

Your house is pretty much the same progress as ours. The brick picture is of the end unit beside you. They haven't started the brick down by use yet.

WE went out and bought a fridge, stove dishwasher and BBQ on sunday, so we are almost set.

My father in law knows a guy for Air conditioning, and I'm hoping to get a quote from him soon. When I talk to him, I'll ask him if I he can offer this deeal to other people, and if your interested, I'll let you know what he says. I'm expecting we should have a frame walk early next week. The block of towns on the corner have almost all the drywall up, so we should be soon.

THe houses are also using Hi-Velocity ducts for the heating and cooling.

I'm hoping to go by tonight again to see what else has been done if anything, and I'll grab some more pictures for you guys.

We have our frame walk at 4:00pm on Wednesday.

Lyndi and Jeff, did you get my PM? I don't think it is sending any of my PM's. I just wanted your email to send you some pictures.

Marcus, I was out last night. Your floors for the first level are on a truck, so they should start going up today or tomorrow.

Lyndi, Mattamy screwed up our frame walk, and rescheduled for the same time you have today!! So they rescheduled again, and we have ours around 3:00 today. We may see you if your still around.

They are drywalling on Wednesday, so that's why we can't do it then.

Marcus,

Don't know when you were last out to the site, but they have almost finished your second floor walls. Should be done by the end of the week. I didn't grab any pictures, but I will next time i'm out.

The email address for the construction office is:
con_milton15a@mattamycorp.com

Even though they are basically pre fab houses, the are a good quality. You should see the brick work and foundation of the sundial house right at the end of Johnson heights....it's bad.

Went by last night, still nothing.
I'll let you know when they do start, because I go out almost every day.

Was out again last night, and things look good. They should have the garage floors poured by the end of the week for 240 and 238. Some of 240 has colour on the walls, and some have the base for the tile floors down, so all the tiling should be done by end of the week I would think. They have also sprayed the ceilings in all of 240. The attics have been insulated a week ago, and most have the hot water tank sitting boxed in the basement. Alot is going to happen over the next three weeks to closing day.
Very exciting!!

Hello all,

Just thought I would let you know that I got the call for the

So I guess everything will be on time(fingers crossed).

I will go on the weekend anyway to see where they are at.
Thanks for the updates Kelly.
