Anybody else buy on Potts Terrace? My wife Margaret, our boys Aidan and Riley (age 7 and 5), and myself purchased lot 13 last weekend and would love to know who our neighbours are. Specifically looking to find lot 12 if you're out there!

Just an update for anyone who hasn't been to the site lately. The road is ready to be paved, and they have fully landscaped the creekbed area to the south of the street. It looks really good, and it's great that the plants will have a year to take before we all move in! I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested.

Cheers,
Hunter

Even better... they're actually taking care of the plants... I was out there early one weekend morning, and they had a guy with a water truck going along and watering all the trees.

It's going to be a very nice street... we didn't know at the time but on the newer plans it shows that south of the creek is going to be park area and a spot for schools... not to mention a nice view of the escarpment.

We were all set to take some pictures, had the camera with me and everything, but forgot to check the batteries, and of course, it was dead.

I've got it charging tonight so I'll definately go get some pictures this weekend and post them.

Hi Nick,

Great to hear from you. Are you currently in Milton, or moving here from somewhere else?

We're so excited about the size and privacy of our lot - we've been looking and waiting a long time for something like this to come along.

Cheers,

Hunter

Welcome Daniel and Michelle,

Have you been by the site lately. There is a lot of digging around lots 9-12, as well as around the bend near lots 15-18. We're still being told our May 14 closing will hold, although they haven't started digging yet. I'm a little sceptical, but we'll have to see!

Cheers,
Hunter

It's zooming right along, I'd say at least a quarter of the streets' foundations are done (although in our case, done wrong, we paid to move the fireplace and they poured it with the old fireplace location, but they should be able to fix it no problem), and about half a dozen houses have the framing started.

Lots 16 & 26 have the first floor pretty much framed, and 18 & 28 have a lot of the second floor/roof framed in.

It's really amazing driving out there now since so much of phase 1 is built considering how it looked a few months ago.

I was absolutely amazed when we went by on Saturday how far along they are already. We are in lot 28 and it was so nice to finally see some progress. We were initially set for a Mar 24 close date but has now been pushed back to April 23.

interesting, my parents are lot 36 (I think) and they are set for April 23rd as well and they only have footings. They are expecting an update at Mattamy U next week before they decide on listing their house in Mississauga.

Matt - they only had footings yesterday, but the bundles of the wood frames that they use to pour the walls were all in front of your parent's place, so I'm guessing they'll be poured today or tomorrow.

Well, they sure seem to be going gangbusters on the northern half of Potts. On the north side of the northern half all the foundations are in and most of the houses are framed to at least the second floor. On the south side of the northern half, all the foundations are poured, but no framework has been done yet.

I couldn't see the southern half, as they had the trucks on the road pouring foundations at the bend and it was too dark by the time I got there to see from the northern side of the road.

No Delay for us yet - lot 13. Although, as they just poured the foundation, and with the cold weather, I'm expecting a delay notice soon.

Cheers,
Hunter
