I go to Dr Pyper and like her just fine. I know that many people on this board do not though. I find that she will take the time to answer all of your questions, but that she does not really have a "nurturing" quality. She tends to treat you like she is a teacher and you are her student.

My husband and I often joke that she sees all of us as a future medical paper topic.

I am a former patient of Dr. Pyper's. Let's just say there's a reason -- or plenty of reasons, I should say -- why I no longer go to her.

Do a search on this forum and you'll find that most opinions expressed on her are not very favourable.

My own experiences/complaints mirror the majority of those posted here and on the forum. At least she's consistent!

My new doctor, Dr. Dhiraj is fantastic. I can honestly say I received better attention from him in the first two minutes of my first appointment with him then I did in the five or six appointments combined with Dr. Pyper.

My son was born on September 17th...just 12 days ago. I took him to see dr Dhiraj and he was great. The nurse came in and did the weigh in and stuff but then the doctor came in to see Nathan. He seemed pleasant and although i was there for my sons first checkup he also took the time to ask about me and how i was doing, if there were any problems with the pregnancy, delivery, at home etc. He took the time to ask about me and put everything in my sons file even though i was not there for myself. Since i had a c section he also said that the next time i go in with my son he would also like to check the stitches just to make sure they are ok. Since my son was born at 38 weeks he also said he would like to see him again this tuesday for another weigh in.

So all in all my expereince was good and i will continue to see him.....the secretary is another story all together......if you got to the rate your md's website and look up the doctors name everyone seems to have not so nice things to say about her.....

If you dont like Doctor Dhiraj their is also a Doctor Gliesner...however he does not see children under 4 years of age...his credentials seem good too...went to medical school in the USA etc....
