Btw did you speak to a sales associate or just the receptionist/front desk on the installation quote? We were also initially quoted a high installation charge, but later on when we spoke to a sales person who deals with Hawthorne Village, they mentioned how they have work crews in the area frequently to do installations for Mattamy, and since they could time it to do ours at the same time, they gave us a much better negotiated rate.
Sorry I know this is not a reply to your actual question. You can probably DIY if your handy (i'm not). Maybe mirror interiors supplies an instruction sheet or pointers?
