I do love all the advance greens, and they help more along traffic.

What I don't like....

Is waiting to go straight at an intersection when there is an advance green and no one is in the lane to go.

I believe I have seen the sensors in the ground.

Are the sensors not turned on? Can we program the intersection to only show advance greens when there are people waiting there?

I know it's a little thing, but I thought I would ask :)

Hi Wyl
Have already asked Town and Regional staff to adjust the advance green lights at some intersections such as Armstong & Derry to reflect the traffic counts and shorten the turning times. There will be more adjustments once Thompson Road north of Derry is completed as well.

Highway 25 in the morning is also a problem and every light is red, and actually the one advanced green for northbound (Market ?)is not required since the next light just a few feet away is always red.

Agreed, Hwy 25 is really bad as well, there's nothing to allow traffic to flow properly. Seems that all the lights are timed to stop traffic rather than let it flow. Colin, would you please request them to look into thos as well.
