Great to have an import specialist in town. Did you previously work for any of the Japanese big 3 as a technician at one of their dealers? Do you have all updated computer diagnostic tools for Nissan that can read codes, clear codes, and reset the ECU?

I have a broken sensor. Causes the "service engine" light to come on. Took it to Honda a while ago and they charged me $200 to just read the error code and tell me what it was and tell me it was safe to drive the car. Then wanted $250 more to fix it which I couldnt afford after the $200 I already paid at the time.

I had my car there (Nissan) for the opening special (oil change etc) and had my rear breaks done as well. Was very happy with everything, service and cost. I will definitly return for future car repairs.

Let me Tell you a little story about True Tech Auto Repair.

This afternoon I was sent on an errand by my wife. Simple job. Pick up a package on Main Street. Easy enough.
I get my package, return to my car, and sure enough.....nothing. Won't start.
I have a '99 Accord with about 213,000 K on it, and I figured....well, it had to happen sometime. Now....what do I do ? I'm somewhat new to Milton, and hadn't an idea what to do, or who to call. So....I call home, and ask my wife if she could look somewhere for a tow truck in Milton, or a repair shop.
She goes on this very forum...finds this thread and makes a call.
Within 5 minutes, Paul form True Tech calls me.....has a tow truck on the way..and in 10 minutes, my car is in his service bay !!! (It's now 6....he closes at 6...). Pop the hood......sees the problem...(corroded battery cable...), calls a parts guy....he has it, and is on the way. By the time Paul has removed the corroded part, the parts guy walks in, hands him a new one, and 10 minutes later..I'm backing my car out of his shop.

So.....what did it cost me???? $25 . That's it........

I love this Town......In Toronto, I wold have paid 10 times this, and not had anywhere near the friendly honest service from the Tow Truck, True Tech, and the Parts guy. (By the way....The tow truck...."Kevin's" 905-878-9229)

Without hesitation, I would recommend Paul ar True Tech, to anyone.
There are not many people who would have stepped up and helped a guy out in such an honest way, and we should count ourselves lucky to have business people like this in Milton.
Take your car there...you won't get hurt, and you'll be glad you did. Nothing wrong with supporting a local business either folks !!!

That's my strory......I can't say enough about True Tech. A real gentleman, and an honest guy.

Peter

To follow up on my post earlier. My wife brought in my car with the sensor issue. She was treated great, shown the issues found during the servicing and we were offered the option of getting a scrap yard part if we wanted or getting new (cracked manifold found during driveclean test). Service was quick, done well and honestly.

Sooooo nice to visit a shop where you dont feel you are constantly being taken for a ride. Especially since I often have to get my wife to bring in my car due to working downtown.

Will continue to use Paul and encourage you all to do so as well.

Another great experience with Paul at True Tech Auto !!!

Thanks for your work Paul....the car runs well, and I appreciate your honesty and advice on what to fix and what not to fix !!

(I dropped off my Honda with Paul, after it started giving me some grief, and asked Paul to sort out what will carry me through to Spring, when I plan on getting a new car...and he was honest enough to take care of the critical stuff, and hold off on what could wait....a rare trait these days....!!)

Paul is Honda, Toyota, Hyundai certified..and if it has wheels, he'll take care of it.....

Throw him your business folks....he's a good guy, and you won't get hurt...
Keep your money in Milton !!!

Pete

I fix cars on the side myself, so rarely trust mechanics. BUT, in every neighbourhood, there's always one or two shops where you get honest, salt-of-the-earth mechanics. So I have to say that Paul's the guy for Milton, and I'm just glad that after 1.5 years living in HV, I've finally found a mechanic who I can go to for repairs that are too messy, or that I can't do in a residential garage or my driveway.

I had a day off today, so I dropped in impromptu for a coolant change and replacement of drive belts. Paul accomodated me without question despite his packed schedule, knowing it was a rare day off from my 9-5 grind, and executed the work nicely. He's got good hands and is VERY clean. Just to give you an idea of how fair Paul is, he charged me so little for the work he did that I rejected his asking price, and gave him a bit more money, an amount for what I thought was fair based on what I would ask for if I did the same job for a neighbour or friend.

So I say spread the word for Paul. Above all else, he's a good family man, very honest, speaks Italian and French ;), very personable amid the bustle of working on 2 cars, meeting timelines and juggling phonecalls, and he's just working hard trying to establish his business. Those who have their own businesses know how tough the first few years are, so let's support Paul. He'll my guy from now on, and if you're fair with him and give him an inch, guaranteed, he'll take you a mile.

I too recommend Paul and his shop. I've had both my wife's car and now my car in for some repairs and we are both very happy with his work. I'm glad we have finally found someone we can trust with vehicle issues.

You can also add my name to the list of satisfied customers! We brought both our cars to Paul twice now and were very impressed with his prompt customer service and his genuine honesty! I highly recommend Paul for your car repairs and maintenance! He is down-to-earth and very knowledgeable! We have been searching for a reliable and honest mechanic ever since we moved to Milton just over a year ago and we're very happy to have found Paul!
