Its a shame that such people live in our nice town.

If I were you I would have def video taped EVERYTHING just keep sending it into the police. Even the police would get tired of it after awhile.

I'm just curious, did it also take you long to sell your house because you told the truth about your neighbours or were you able to keep that hush hush from interested buyers?

My scenario:
Put my 500 watt stereo/ subwoofer right up against their wall. Turn up the base, CD "Boom Rap", CD player on "Repeat"setting , turn dial to real annoying sound level. Hook up to timer, for 18 hours a day of pure hell. The best part, I'd be away on vacation for 2 weeks, while the stereo works overtime. See how they like that!

Normally I wouldn't condone stooping to their level, but since you are moving away from them give them a few nights of living hell.

Wait for the music/noise to stop on their side so that you know they are now trying to sleep; then do what a previous poster indicated, put a speaker against the wall with a good sub and just blast it for 10 minutes. Then stop, wait another 20 minutes and then blast it again. The time intervals should be enough so get woken just as they were about to fall asleep.

My advice would have been not to move-but it's too late now. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. You could be moving onto a worse street after all.

A word of advice-you might want to consider not having a sign on your lawn-if these evil neighbours know you're trying to move, they may make things... a little difficult.
