So my house backs onto the church property/union gas property. There's a big new building being built, possibly a hall or something to the west of the church. Looks like it's on the church property, just wondering if anyone has any idea what's going on there?

one of the board members from the church works at my office and i think he said it was a community center type building... with a gym / hall type set up. i will ask him for specific details tommorrow if i get a chance :)

Hi everyone
The new Pentecostal church was approved about 2 months ago at Milton Council on the 10+ acre property. The church is expanding to serve a larger congregation and area. Should have more information regarding the Mattamy proposal to the south of the church in the next two weeks as it should be coming back to Council when all the servicing issues are resolved.

They are building a Youth Community Centre. It's a church serving the youth in our community.

yes - that's what i heard too. since it's pretty much right behind us.... i'm looking foreward to seeing what kind of activities / programs they will have :)

Thanks to all for the info! Yes, I'm hoping that it would be available for renting out. I'm also hoping that it won't get too loud out there..
