We had our design appointment last night and we were told that there aren't any delays for the towns so I am feeling confident for now.

Some of the village homes have been delayed to March/April from now November/December, I'm getting a little nervous. I hope they can catch up, but I don't see them doing double the amount of houses at the same time.

Hi guys we closed in August and have had our 30 day inspection. In talking to the gentleman he told me that Mattamy is way behind in closings so if I were you I would prepare to receive delay notices. He was saying that they have fallen quite behind. When we closed we were missing part of our kitchen cabinets and got them about 2 weeks later. There have been people on our street that have closed without the gutters or canals being in. Thought I would let you know. Good luck . By the way we were suppossed to close June 28 and closed August 1.

You are in phase 15 I am guessing. Did they say anything about the HVE phase 1?

Tiffany, the design consultants and Kelly Spencer are all still saying that at this point they do not anticipate any delays for towns in our phase.

Village Homes that are also part of Phase 1 have had notices delivered to them already-don't think any are on our street though, but towns have in fact been delayed. Kelly won't comment for me on anyone else's house besides my own, but tells me as of right now we're supposed to close on time.

Keeping fingers crossed...

I so hope they are right, after waiting a year now with over 9 months to go, a 4 month delay would be horrible. 1 or 2 would be ok (money) .

Did your design appointment and everything go okay?

Hmmm... My FI was there the other day-noticed that the west side of Prosser has a one way street sign!

Can anyone confirm that they were told it was going to be a one way street when they purchased?!? I don't know if it's just for the construction phase, but we weren't told they were making it a one way!

And, any other delays?!? May as well make this a two-for. :)

They actually began to dig our lots last week! Woohoo! They're about 4 feet down as of Sunday. :)

We were told at our DC appt that we'd have a basement by the end of November, so they're a little late, but otherwise on schedule.

Hey, Polskino, can you rack your brain and try to remember how long ago exactly you got your delay? Before Christmas? New Year's?

Trying to figure out when to expect ours, lol.

Such perfection is offered by few. :)

It seems a lot of people are getting their delays at about the 99-103 day mark. Just as we're getting back from vacation-Jan. 28 is our 102 day mark, lol. We're back on the 27th. :)

Anyone have updates on the Prosser circle, Mark st. Frank Place area, delays, progress, We haven't been to the site in awhile. How are the houses coming that are closing between now and June?

I've been away for a week and a half, but am heading up to Milton today and will be driving by our site. :)

We haven't received a delay yet, but that being said, haven't been back to FI's to check his mail recently, lol. I had asked my FFIL to text message us with a new closing date. I don't really expect him to have remembered.

I do expect it soon, considering the timeframe. When I left, I didn't have framing started yet, but did have a foundation. The people to the north of us had a bit of framing, but not much had been done in the 4 weeks between Christmas and Jan. 18th, the last time I was there.
