Canada Post advised that they do not assign the super boxes until the street is about 90% finished and mattamy has advised that they can put one in. I have been in for a month now and still have to pick up my mail at the post office... joys !

It all depends on when you move in. If you're one of the first to move in in a new phase/area, you might not get a mailbox and would have to retreive the mail at the post office.

The rule is, if there is no major construction near the mailbox location, they will go in, otherwise you collect the mail at the post office.

Which would be the reason as I was the very first one to close in that phase.
