Anyone know how to fix a crack in the corion? or if its even possible.
I guess after the floor settled, one end of the counter dropped a bit and the counter cracked at the edge of the cut for the range - right out to the edge. :(

Well the crack now split right through. I went to Home Depot the other night and asked how to fix it. The guy was great - said Corion has a 10 year warranty even though we purchased through the builder. He gave me the number to call their head office in the states. My husband called yesterday and was told that we are not registered even though Mattamy was supposed to register each intallation. We have to get a letter from Mattamy with all the information - including the person who cut and installed it on letterhead and fax it to corion. They will then send someone out within a couple of days to fix it. They do not need to remove the counter (thank God!), so we can still install our backsplach this weekend. :)

Finally this thing is fixed! It took five and a half hours this morning, and left a big mess, but it's done.
I can't believe that it took so long to repair. The guy did give me a brochure that was supposed to be left with to us originally. He was telling me not to put anything hot on it when I told him I have been doing it for almost eight years. He said I was lucky. The booklet has all the use and care info in it and he left me Corion's head office number in case we need any more help.
If anyone else has the Corian counter tops, you may want to get a copy of this and make sure that Mattamy left you your warranty papers for it.
