It depends. For last two homes we were living near by during construction. Went on construction site few times per week from ground breaking to closing of doors, well even after doors were closed I went in to check how it is going. Every time we were thinking something is wrong it was not a problem to ask a question from Mattamy and get quick answer. If you are not this kind of person it is good idea to hire a person who will do this for you. At least for frame walk and predelivery. If you are planning to stay long in this home it is good idea to hire professional who knows the building code. I have seen it in our homes and homes build nearby how questionable were materials and quality of work. I didn't know if it meets the code and I was asking Mattamy guys about it. It works for me, but it is the matter of trust.
So if you have "some glue" and time, probably not.
At this case at this forum search for "PDI list"
If no time no glue - yes.
