How's the situation today? Some of the previously "dry" stations in Mississauga have been reopened after getting refilled.

Just got some gas at the Esso on Derry/Ontario

They are out of petrol as of 9PM. Damnit, they had a sign that said only Premium was available for Regular's price, and because my car takes Premium, I thought I was in luck until I got out and realised they were completely out of petrol.

So I mosied on over to Petro Canada, which is the only place left in Milton for petrol  , had to pay $1.11/L and then went to Tim Hortons after for a coffee.

Interesting - the province doesn't seem to think it's a huge problem.

As of today 60+ stations are out of gas for next two weeks.

According to Ontario Min. of Energy&Power - So What?

When asked about the shortage Tuesday, Energy Minister Dwight Duncan appeared to downplay the impact, saying, "So? Did everyone get gas? So what?"

That was totally someone speaking without thinking first. He may be right, by saying theres no reason to freak out etc. But to say so what? is just not something you say when people want some answers.

Bad choice of words. Hes not a really strong minister anyways.
