there are wireless options for house alarms. But the service is though, Rogers, typically $20 a month, and then the alarm company installs this "black box". It will connect to your monitoring service when an a alarm is activated. But not all monitoring companies will offer the service and not typically to home installation. I would contact the monitoring service, and see is voip will work. |

I do all the time with Fido/Rogers. But this disucssion has happened a dozen times here already. To the OP: You do not have to get a system monitored. But you will have to pay for the system. |
