Hey all -- I did a search first, but didn't find much of recent (there was a bit from 2007) but looking for additional ideas of great things to see while in NYC (going later this week for just 3 days).

Got our flights, hotels, booked tickets for Jersey Boys and 9/11 Memorial visiting. Was hoping to catch a taping of Daily Show or Colbert report but they appear to be offline this week showing repeats. Any other things you highly recommend? Trying to keep costs in order, but willing to spend to get great food or a great attraction.

Thanks in advance!

I'm soooo excited...we're going to the Jersey Shore on July 1st + 2nd and then heading into Manhattan from July 2nd to the 6th. I can't wait to start planning our daily itinerary!

Manhattan was awesome!
We also saw some of the cast from Jersey Shore when we were in Seaside Heights.

No, none thank goodness. It was soooooooooooo hot and humid the whole week we were there. I almost burst into tears in the middle of Time's Square one evening because of the humidity. I'm a nerd that way.

Have a great trip! My 16 yr. old teen daughter is going with one of her friend's family in late August for a few days and is so excited, she's hoping they get to see Wicked a show on Broadway.
