Hi guys, I was hoping someone can help me with this. My faucet for the hose inside the garage makes banging noise when the valve is turned to a medium flow. It doesn't do it when the pressure is at full blast or very low. Could this mean that there is air inside the pipe?

Thanks

I used to have the same issue with my shower. I found out that the problem is with the gasket inside the faucet. There was a problem with the gasket and the water wouldn't flow out evenly. It was "pulsating". I replaced the gasket and it fixed the problem.

Yes, an O-ring or gasket or washer is the culprit. If you are handy, shut off the water and disassemble the faucet and check things out. If not, call a plumber.

Thanks for your help guys, I'll try to fix it sometime this week. Would that also cause the faucet to squirt out water randomly as it's being used?

That's usually the anti-siphon attachment on the end of the faucet if there is one.
