HI,

I hears Cortina is doing the cabinets for our house (phase 3 HVE)? Have they been doing cabinets for Mattamy for awhile or is this the first phase?

I'm also wondering if they provide a 3D layout of your kitchen as you make the upgrades to your kitchen. I know Aya did this and it was AWESOME!

Jeff

I'm not sure how long Cortina has been doing cabinets for Mattamy but you can really tell the difference in quality especially once you start doing extras i.e. glass cabinet, wine racks, pot drawers, etc.

We got 3D pics given to us after each upgrade.

Cortina is doing our kitchen as well.

You might find visiting their office in Woodbridge useful.
Although their website and showroom is under construction, you can still view some of their doors, valances and hardware in a small temporary room they've set up.

They basically show the same door styles at the Mattamy DC, but in various colours so you can get a better idea.
I find Mattamys Cortina display very disappointing as it's difficult to figure out what your door style will look like in another colour.

I've been told that the Cortina showroom in Woodbridge won't be finished for months. You can also ask a Cortina sales person if they have any built kitchens to view using the door style you're choosing. We did that and found out a Monarch model home in Markham uses it... so it'll be a drive out for us, but I'm sure it's worth it when you figure how much you're spending.

p.s. Cortina also offers other custom features like antiquing, glazing and highlites.
