I'll be calling Milton home real soon once my townhome is complete. I got a Springdale Village Home, part of phase 15B. I cant wait!

Anyways, Mattamy had an optional door available to be put into my master bedroom leading to the bathroom making it a semi en-suite.

At the time, I didnt care too much for the door but overtime I've decided I do want it installed. Unfortunately now it's too late for the builder to this kind of change.

I went into my (future) place on the weekend and found that they already have the wooden framework in for the walls, but no wiring and no drywall.

Any advice on what I can do about this or what my options are? I was hoping to have the door installed prior to closing but now it doesn't seem this is possible...or is it? Anyone have experience with directly speaking to one of the builders to add the proper framework/rough-in for a door or any other extra side-projects?

I'm not very savy nor do I trust myself with DIY construction work so any insights on this would be useful.
