Hi

Just wondering wather anybody has gone for alternate 2nd floor layout for Emery, that is a loft instead of the 3rd bed room.I loved the alternate layout because it is open and bright with 2 windows.

On the other hand, the down side i feel is that wash room will loose a window and hence may be dark.

I ve liked it vry much ,and want to go for it, but I am questioning myself wather the house will now be considered as 2 bedroom house instead of 3 and eventually when i want to sell it ,I may ve problems.I am Confussed!

Any thoughs will be highly appretiated

Thanks

hi zeeshan,

Thank you ! I agree with you that it will effect resale of my house. As for the 3rd bedroom , Its not a need for me right now. I may not go for it because of resale issue , but i guess i'll still ponder over it for a while.

Which street is your house on and when is your closing

Thans again

If you do get the 2 bedroom + loft, I would really consider finishing the basement with a bedroom down there, then the house will still have 3 bedrooms.

We bought an Emery and we are getting the 3 bedrooms. The basement isn't big, but it is big enough to put in a bed room laundry room and still have a family room or storage room.

hi Tiff & Brian ,

That is a good idea, ill discuss with Wify about it

Thanks!

Hi Zeeshan

I agree that house shuld be bought to ones liking and not for the sole purpose of resale. But since this is a town house , i am pretty sure that Ill move in to a bigger house with in few years , so its a littlle difficult to ignore the effect on resale.

Regards!

Nasrulla
