Are you an adult looking to help out or a high school student needing your 40 hours of community service? How about volunteering at ths years Milton Ribfest... Bigger and better even than the first two years which were huge successes..

Plenty of those at the Milton Hilton!

If you are looking for a volunteer ribber, I can make ribs much better than any of these so called pro's. I may even have a partner on here who could provide a similar, but still inferior product.

I seem to have lost a year somehow... isn't this their 2nd year?? Anyhow, it's all good, I'm looking forward to going.

I went to the one in Oakville last Friday night as a warmup and was disappointed. All those nice parks in Oakville and they held it in the Sheridan parking lot?? Half the ribs we had were great, but other half were really fatty. Coke was warm. You would think they would know that thousands of people would come for supper Friday night and would have cooled the pop beforehand!!

Woah woah woah - "New this year - Craft brew festival"??

4 brewers? Good start I suppose. Who's coming? Nickel Brook for sure, but who else?

Trafalgar Ales and Meads?
Black Oak?

If you can get muskoka, flying monkeys, or LoB to come down here, I'll be impressed.

How does this festival work? Do you get x number of samples for a set fee?

Will try and get this info for you... I am not the organizer of the event but I have sent some questions back to Scott who is the person who brought it to Milton and is still actively involved. I just co-ordinate all the millions of volunteeers it takes to pull this off..:)
Do appreciate your excellent questions...

Perhaps you two should get together... Hawthorny, can you prove your claim? Perhaps host a rib party for us all to sample? This weekend? :)

Oddly enough I am holding a topless party this weekend at my place. I can work ribs into the for sure. Simple rules, just bring tons of beer, condoms and leave your inhibitions at home.

Wasn't there a guy on here already doing that sort of thing..?

By the way part of the weekend will be an "amateur" rib cooking contest between groups in Milton on Saturday I believe.
