It may be a stupid question but I was wondering if upgrades can be added to your mortgage instead of paying for them up-front?

Yes you can. You must get a letter from the bank in order to add it to your mortgage.

Just double check something - I think you have to spend a minimum amount on upgrades to be eligible for this. Something around the 10k mark maybe? Can't quite remember, but check that.
