I'm so confused....

We just picked up a pricing package yesterday and have an appt. on Oct 26 with carol. After reading some of the posts, I'm wondering why we received prices so early on. Is there something I'm missing? What is the 2nd design appt for if we're supposed to be pricing things out now and finalize them at our first appt ?(Oct 26)

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.

I think the process has changed a little. We were originally told we would have two appts but then they said no, usually now people only have the one appt. We only had the one appt. That's why they tell you to go to the design centre often to pick out your stuff.

So, have you gotten ur package like us with the prices? I was told by our design consultant that we choose our upgrades at the first appt. and at our design appt. closer to closing, we choose all the cosmetic stuff, like faucets & fixtures, colours, etc.

It was explained to me that it depends on the model(size) of your home on whether you need 1 or two appointments. Because town houses are smaller and have less options they only give us one. I think the bigger homes sometimes have more than one because they have more options and more to go through.
