According to a post on Milton Moms, Angels just went out of business (like, yesterday, during lunch!).

Wow, that didn't take very long. Didn't they just open in the spring?

We've tried Troy's a few times and it seems to be hit or miss with the food. Three times now to the Sunset Grill and had really good food 2 of the 3 times. Today (at Sunset Grill) I asked for well done home fries and was told they only come one way ... and yet I could see them on the grill. I'm not sure why it wasn't possible to leave mine on for a couple of minutes extra, but what do I know.

Don't go there since Troy left (kidding). I find it overpriced there. For 3.99 I can get a really great breakfast. Sometimes we go crazy and get some french toast. Troys is awesome, and most of the staff are amazing. We have our favs :)

Troy's ... I don't think it is even close.

We were not happy with the service at either Angel's or Sunset Grill.

We attempted breakfast at Angel's this morning (Sunday around 11am) and all the lights were out with a notice on the door. I'm assuming now from what I've read here that Angels went out of business ... we didn't get out to read it.

Our next stop was Troy's ... and there was a line up out the door (spill over perhaps?). There was a sign indicating the debit and credit card machine was down so we decided to move on to the next location (we're going to come back and try Troy's as we heard it was really good).

We walked into Louis Diner up on Steeles and got no attention after standing around for about 5 minutes so we just took this as a sign that breakfast in Milton this morning just wasn't in the cards.

I'm surprised to hear any negatives about Angels as we've had nothing but good experiences there ... the food was great, service was always awesome and we were happy with the value.

Sad to hear it closed down - the place was packed everytime we were there.

Next up - Troy's!

You guys know there are 2 Troys Diner's in Milton right?

We stopped going to the one on Main Street awhile ago cause it's always busy. We go to their second location as it's not as crowded and has about the same service and menu. They're both called Troy's diner, they just have 2 locations in Milton currently.

I won't post the second location, it will remain a secret (no one else post please) because if I posted the location, it would probably start to get a line up as well. :P

We'll have to try fifth wheel sometime. Haven't been there yet but will go in the future.

Ha! Only our closest friends and family get to sample some of our tasty breakfast treats.

Nothing beats slow cooked in the oven thickly sliced back bacon, two eggs over easy all assembled on a messy english muffin sandwich with tomato and cheese. Despite being a 'sandwich', a knife and fork are highly recommended for plate clean up.

I've got to try making homemade english muffins so I can make them big enough to support the messy breakfast sandwiches.
